He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” (Mathew 26:39)

Meditation

"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass… yet not as I will, but as You will."
Jesus prayed honestly and vulnerably in the garden.
Grab a 3.x5 note card and take a moment to write a prayer that begins, “If it’s possible, God…”—naming something you wish would pass.
Sit in silence with that prayer for just a moment.  At the end of your silence pray:

“My lord God, I will trust you in the unknown, I will trust you in the uncomfortable, I will trust you in the unfolding.”
