Spencer (he/him) has been a member of NewStory since moving to Chicago in 2011 with his wife, Cary Anne. In 2025, he joined the teaching team after everyone agreed he could finally be trusted with a microphone. He also serves as part of the Tech Team and Communications Team. Outside of NewStory, Spencer works as a writer and artist who can occasionally be found vending at markets around the city. In his free time, he enjoys many mature and sophisticated hobbies, including playing pickleball, building LEGO, and collecting Pokémon cards.
